Something that bugs me about Omnidock

Look I know I make it no secret I don’t agree with the verdict or like Omnidock as an episode but it’s not just cuz Sun Disk. It’s not actually my biggest issue with the matchup I feel like Bardock should’ve gotten higher with what they gave but that’s not here or there.

The absolutely horrible explanation of SSJ. Look if they just said SSJ couldn’t match Omniman that’ve been fine. It just be “I disagree with their scaling but they have a different opinion from me that’s whatever.”

But they did something that really annoys me. They made up weaknesses for SSJ. I see almost nobody has ever brought this up? Maybe I just missed a chapter but it’s always about the Sun Disk. Not enough people talk about how they give SSJ weaknesses it straight up doesn’t have. They say SSJ drains the user at an increased rate but that straight up is objectively untrue. Like they point to Tween Gohan saying that it has instability as a form but that doesn’t directly equate to stamina on its own. SSJ Goku on Namek for example was already tired after his fight with Frieza but still had enough energy for a full on fight, to give Frieza enough energy to unleash an energy blast/escape the planet when he couldn’t even move prior, and to find and escape for himself. This was Goku’s first time using the form by the way after he is body was put through heavy strain and he spent an extended period being trashed around by someone stronger than he was. It absolutely doesn’t drain energy at an increased rate that’s actually notable. It’s just an “unstable form” but even then that’s barely an issue for people who never used the form before.

Also they say the same thing about Great Ape but like… is this true? For this one I’m not as sure and maybe I missed smth I can fully believe that but like that stamina loss more so comes from loosing a tail doesn’t it? While in the great ape form people like Vegeta who are actual seasoned warriors can continue the fight even after being damaged before, during and after entering their great ape form and having their tail sliced off. It took Vegeta being crushed by a giant baby Gohan ape in order to be defeated fully so like… where does this come from? I tried finding a source for this but I didn’t see one but once again if I missed something I could believe that.

Look not even trying to argue Bardock should’ve won here that’s not my argument here even though I personally think he should’ve won. The verdict is just poorly argued for several reasons and to me this is one of the most aggravating examples.
